0728 GMT - China Eastern Airlines Corp. is one of the most mentioned companies in the news over the past 12 hours, according to Factiva data, after it took delivery of a passenger aircraft that was developed in China. The airline will test the C919, a 164-seat aircraft, for at least 100 hours before being put into service as early as the spring of 2023, Xinhua reported Friday. The C919 is the first jetliner to be independently developed in China and has a range of up to 5,555 kilometers, according to the website of its developer, Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China.
