Dutch Government Moves to Keep Shell in Country by Scrapping Tax -FT

--The Dutch government is attempting to keep Royal Dutch Shell PLC in the Netherlands by moving to scrap a dividend tax, the Financial Times reports.

--The caretaker government led by Mark Rutte will try to find a last-minute majority in parliament to remove a 15% withholding tax that Shell previously attacked, the FT reports, citing officials from the Dutch government.

--Shell said earlier Monday it would end its dual-share structure and shift its entire tax-base to the U.K., which the Dutch Government described as an "unwelcome surprise."
