Matthews recently announced plans to launch three actively run transparent exchange-traded funds: China, Asia Innovators, and Emerging Markets Equity. The China ETF will be run by lead manager Andrew Mattock and comanagers Winnie Chwang and Sherwood Zhang; the Asia Innovators ETF will be run by lead manager Michael Oh and comanager Taizo Ishida; and the Emerging Markets Equity ETF will managed by lead manager John Paul Lech and comanager Alex Zarechnak. The ETFs should have similar portfolios to the firm's open-end funds and leverage the same portfolio management teams and processes.
