Manager Jason Alonzo left J.P. Morgan as of May 25, 2021, and no longer serves as a manager of JPMorgan U.S. GARP Equity. Andrew Stern has assumed Alonzo’s role as lead manager. Stern, a 13-year veteran of J.P. Morgan, was named comanager in 2019 after eight years on the strategy as an analyst. J.P. Morgan is looking to hire an additional research staff member to help absorb some of Alonzo's coverage responsibilities, though the team did add an analyst prior to Alonzo's departure who can contribute right away. The team will also continue to lean on insights from J.P. Morgan's 20-plus member core research analyst team.
