Erin Davis

Erin Davis is an assistant vice president for Morningstar Credit Ratings, LLC. She specializes in European banks.

Before assuming her current role in 2016, Davis was a senior equity analyst, where she also covered large global European and U.S. trust banks. In addition to serving as an analyst, Davis is a founder and president of the Morningstar Women’s Initiative (WIN), a global employee resource group.

Before joining Morningstar in 2007, Davis was a senior analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago for seven years, where she studied issues affecting banks and payment systems.

Davis holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She ranked first in the bank industry in The Wall Street Journal’s annual “Best on the Street” analysts survey in 2013, the last year the survey was conducted.
