Wells Fargo is A Comin' for Montgomery Funds
Montgomery Funds will cease to exist.
Montgomery Asset Management, the San Francisco-based advisor to the 12-year-old family, has agreed to sell most of its fixed-income, small-cap, mid-cap and emerging-markets retail and institutional funds to Wells Fargo (WFC) for an undisclosed sum. Montgomery is looking for another buyer for its remaining global accounts.
