William Shakespeare could not have anticipated TransCanada's (TRP) Keystone XL Pipeline, but his words in Macbeth perfectly capture last week's Senate debate over it: "It is a tale … full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." Yeah, I know he also said that the story is "told by an idiot"--insert your own joke here--but bear with me.
