Marsico Funds began selling shares Tuesday for its first fund that will be managed by someone other than its founder, Tom Marsico.

Marsico, who left Janus Capital three years ago to build his own fund shop around the focused style he made famous at Janus Twenty (JAVLX), has handed the reins of the 21st Century Fund to one of his senior analysts, James Hillary.
