European markets were little changed Monday after upbeat data last week in the U.S. unsettled investors over whether the U.S. Fed could begin winding down its stimulus measures earlier than expected.
Stocks on the Move
RSA Insurance Group plunged over 11% in London after the company said late Sunday it has appointed PwC to undertake a review of the issues identified last week in its Irish claims and finance functions.
Miners also weighed on the index as Glencore Xstrata PLC sank about a percent while BHP Billiton and Anglo American both gave up 1.2% each, respectively.
Deutsche Telekom AG was down 2% in Frankfurt after the company agreed to buy GTS Central Europe for 546 million euro.
