Janus Worldwide's Manager Leaving After Just One Year
The fund will be run by an interim manager as Janus looks for a replacement.
Janus announced today that Laurent Saltiel, who took over the management of Janus Worldwide (JAWWX) in April 2009 and has delivered excellent results at Janus International Equity (JAIEX) since its November 2006 inception, is leaving the firm at the end of May. Saltiel is heading to AllianceBernstein to head up a global team.
Effective immediately, Brent Lynn of Janus Overseas (JAOSX) will take the helm of Worldwide (as well as Saltiel's other charge) on an interim basis until a permanent replacement is found. Jonathan Coleman, Janus' co-chief investment officer, says the firm will search for candidates both externally and within the firm.
